## How the gallery works

1. Whitelisted Hydro members upload screenshots of their builds.
2. The community votes on the uploads.
3. At the end of each month the most-voted build is announced as the winner.
4. Votes reset monthly, so each month has a fresh leaderboard.

Only Hydro members can upload or vote — you must be whitelisted first. Anyone
can browse the gallery without an account.

## Why these builds look the way they do

Everything shown here is built in **survival Minecraft with no creative mode,
no world edit and no plugins**. Hydro runs Fabric for performance, but gameplay
is 100% Vanilla — every block was gathered and placed by hand.

Hydro's current season, **Season 13**, began on **11 July 2025** and is a
**Forever World** — a season with no scheduled end or reset date. Most Minecraft
servers reset every 3–6 months; Hydro does not. Builds here therefore represent
years of invested time rather than weeks, which is why the scale and detail tend
to exceed what is typical for a public survival server.

Hydro is a **Hermitcraft-style community SMP** — a small, vetted group of adult
players sharing one long-running Vanilla world, building together rather than
competing. There is no economy plugin, no land claim system and no minigames.
